This free workshop will provide an overview of anger and aggression in long-term care. Discussions points include healthy vs. unhealthy anger, primitive brain vs. evolved brain, and awareness. Participants will learn how to help identify triggers, communication skills, and provide strategies. Emphasis will be on practical solutions and tools used to provide anger management support.
Coffee and refreshments will be served. Registration is at 8:30 AM and the program runs from 9am to 12 noon.
