In 1907, Henrietta Parker fulfilled her husband’s philanthropic vision of a homelike nursing home that provided affordable, excellent care to its residents. She was the founder of the Francis E. Parker Memorial Home, which was built on land that was shared by her home.Today, this building is known as Parker at Landing Lane.Through the years, Parker Home advanced Parker’s legacy and increased their ability to serve more people by constructing Parker at River Road skilled nursing residence and Parker at Stonegate Assisted Living Residence. However, their growth is best measured by the results of their transformative, person-centered and holistic approach to caring for the mind, body, and spirit rather than in square footage.
