This workshop wil provide an overview of common health problems in the older adult population, such as malnutrition, dehydration, skin conditions, cardiopulmonary disease, pneumonia, congestive heart failure, diabetes, and pressure ulcers. Participants will learn to identify the symptoms of these health problems so as to better help older adults find medical treatment. Also, common medications, their side effects, and risk of interaction will be part of this workshop.
