Happy Birthday Eden Alternative

Parker Home is a member of Eden Alternative, an organization that is dedicated to creating quality of life for Elders and their care partners. Parker follows the Ten Principles of The Eden Alternative. We have created a person-centered community where life revolves around close relationships and daily interactions with plants, animals, and children.
 
This month, Eden Alternative celebrates their 20th “Birthday”. In March, we were asked to provide a “Happy Birthday” video that would be spliced together with other international members’ videos and shown at the 2014 Eden International Conference, which was held in Nashville from April 30 to May 2. The video was a surprise for Dr. Bill Thomas, founder of Eden Alternative, so we had to keep it a secret until now.
 
So, here it is – a Happy Birthday video for Eden Alternative, performed by Residents, staff, and children who attend our onsite Day Care Center.
